We specialise in providing websites for small businesses. Many of our websites are controlled by a database. The database holds most of the information presented in the web pages, making searching and sorting features easy to provide. The website owner has facilities to maintain the data, and any changes are immediately reflected in the website.

Exeter Small Automatics buy and sell small automatic cars, new and used.

As their stock changes daily, they need an easy way to keep their website updated with what is available, and to present details of their vehicles in an easily-accessible way.

We provided them with a database on their PC to help manage their stock — a single-click is all that is needed to put details of currently-available vehicles online.

Visitors to their website can view cars by price range or by manufacturer.

This is a simple and inexpensive 3-page site with everything that Style Studio need to show customers the services they offer.

The price lists are compiled on-the-fly from a database stored with the website. This makes it easy to manage the price list, and means that if in future Style Studio decide they would like to be able to edit the prices and and add new ones themselves, this can be provided at a modest cost and without the need to change the web pages.

Many of our other websites are are specialist ones done for businesses with distinctive requirements that involve complicated databases; these are often rather dull to look at because the customers didn't require pretty looks — what they wanted was the power of a database and associated programming to provide the sophisticated features needed to run their business.
